My 18 year old son took ownership Friday night of a 1982 Camaro Z28!! He is beyond thrilled with the car and has spent quite a bit of time detailing it and trying to make it his own.
He obtained it from a cousin where it had been sitting idle on the farm for several years collecting dust. It is deep blue with light blue highlights, has a 4 speed 305 engine, and huge 50-series tires that make it look incredible!
We towed it home on a dolly and now that he’s got it going, the engine rumbles and shakes the car from side to side. It easily takes off in 2nd gear which means he can spin those huge balloon tires at will. Very exciting for a kid his age!!
My daughter was helping him detail the car today and told me she had used 11.5 high alkaline Kangen Water to take some sort of gummy, sticky substance off the seat. She said it stuck to her fingers and spread easily but that under the influence of that water, it balled up and she was able to roll it off! Maybe we ought to try putting it in the gas tank!! J
